Experience

Hugo started his financial services career as a Forensic Investigator for PwC before joining WestLB and Panmure Gordon as an investment manager. Hugo joined the firm in 2002 rising to become Head of London. He joined the Board of Smith & Williamson Investment Management in December 2016 and chaired the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee. Now as a Regional Managing Director and Head of London at Evelyn Partners Investment Management, Hugo is a member of the Financial Services Executive Committee.

Alongside his managerial responsibilities, he sits within a team of seven whose core business is the management of investment portfolios for a range of private clients, companies, pension funds, trusts and charities.

As Head of London Hugo overseas £30bn of the firm’s assets.
