Evelyn Partners, the leading wealth management and professional services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Middleton as Group Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer [1]. Andrew, who joins from British Gas, will become a member of the Group Executive Committee and report directly to Paul Geddes, Group Chief Executive Officer.

At Evelyn Partners, Andrew will have accountability for delivering the group’s commercial strategy and will bring the business development and marketing functions into a single structure. He will also lead the development of the group’s digital client offer, including Bestinvest, working closely with Mayank Prakash, Group Chief Operations Officer.

Andrew brings a breadth of commercial, distribution and strategic experience to Evelyn Partners. At British Gas he held the role of Commercial, Sales & Marketing Director and was latterly Managing Director of British Gas Zero. At British Gas he developed experience of regulated financial services through his leadership of British Gas Insurance Limited, a top ten UK insurer. Prior to British Gas, Andrew was Commercial Director at easyJet, having joined the firm in a group strategy role before moving into the commercial function. Andrew began his career working in strategic management consultancy after graduating from the University of Cambridge.

Paul Geddes, Group Chief Executive of Evelyn Partners, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to Evelyn Partners in this important new role. He is a highly talented, strategic thinker and business leader, with an impressive track record driving commercial success alongside strong client satisfaction levels. In this new role, Andrew will focus on proposition enhancements and deepening our relationships with clients and financial advisers, whilst delivering a truly integrated approach to marketing and business development as we continue to attract new clients.”

Andrew Middleton added: “I am excited to be joining Evelyn Partners as it embarks on the next phase of growth and development. The business has already achieved much in recent years, including developing a broad service proposition, delivering strong client inflows and a successful rebrand. These are great foundations to build upon as we seek to serve the fast-evolving needs of our existing clients, whilst developing an integrated marketing and business development strategy to maximise the growth opportunities ahead. I very much look forward to working with colleagues from across the business.”
